15th World Culture Festival Livestream

Multi-camera livestreaming for the 15th GDUFS World Culture Festival, covering both the outdoor food corridor and the evening gala.

The 15th World Culture Festival marked the return of a major GDUFS campus culture event after a three-year pause. The production was more than a stage broadcast: it included the food corridor, country booth introductions, opening proceedings, and audience interaction, requiring the livestream team to connect multiple spaces into one stable online viewing path.

The livestream was divided into two main stages: the food corridor and the evening gala. The food corridor used a five-camera layout focused on booths, crowds, host interaction, and cultural displays. The gala also used five camera positions, combining wide, tighter wide, medium, close-up, and roaming shots to cover stage performances and audience reactions.

The key challenge was moving between spaces while managing crowd flow. In the outdoor corridor, dense visitors compressed camera positions and movement routes. During the gala, the director had to follow the rhythm of performances from different countries. The team completed its walk-through and equipment setup the day before the event, then coordinated with booths, guided crowd movement, and adjusted camera positions according to producer and director cues.

The livestream ultimately drew more than 140,000 views. It tested the studio’s ability to handle major campus culture events and created new review material around multi-scene livestreaming, mobile shooting, stage rhythm, and on-site collaboration.
